FIELD TRIPS AND TOURS

NOTE: All field trip availability has been filled for the 2009 season.

Field trips to Rader Family Farms are a great way to educate children through entertainment. In 2008, we provided educational entertainment for more than 1000 school children in and around McLean County. The best way to get started is to submit the form below. We'll follow up by email or phone to confirm your reservation.

Things to Know Regarding Field Trips
· Field Trip Hours: 9am - 2pm Monday - Friday
· No fieldtrips on Columbus Day Monday, Oct. 12, 2009
· Spots are filled on a first come, first serve basis
· Dress appropriately. It's usually windy at the farm
· Accessible restroom facilities are also available

The $5.00 admission charge per child includes:

  • A hayrack ride to pumpkin field
  • Each child is allowed to pick any pumpkin in the patch as long as it fits into their Rader Family Farm bag.
  • Use of picnic area (indicate in the form below)
  • The Pumpkin Circle movie
  • Small bag popcorn during movie
  • The Crow's Nest play ground
  • The Little Barnyard
  • The Little Village
  • Each child will receive a copy of "The Ag Mag on Pumpkins" magazine.
  • We allow one chaperone for every five children at no charge
  • Bonfire optional ($10.00 charge; indicate in the form below)
  • Drinks available at our Pumpkin Blossom Snack Cafe for a fee
